About Lou Mintzer

My name is Lou Mintzer (pictured above with my wife, Lori). I live in Occoquan, Virginia and spend as much time as possible boating and floating around on the Occoquan River. I built and maintain this blog about living and boating in Occoquan as a community service and personal creative outlet.

Professionally, I am an experienced technical web application product development manager. I have significant web programming, design and analysis experience. My passion is building, managing and growing web sites that entertain and deliver real value. My specialty is leveraging open-source software to build faster, better websites with modern architectural patterns and performance-optimized front-ends.
