Posted by Lou on September 7, 2015 in Craft Show, Special Events, Town News

The 2015 Occoquan Fall Arts & Crafts Show will take place in Historic Occoquan, Saturday September 26th (10:00 AM to 6:00 PM) and Sunday, September 27th (10:00 AM until 5:00 PM) rain or shine. Per the semi-annual tradition, it will feature lots of greasy food and crafts from a wide array of local artists and vendors. The Town website has complete details.

You can park in nearby commuter lots and take a shuttle to Occoquan for $5/person (cash only). If you don’t mind a little traffic, there is parking to be found in the neighborhoods surrounding the fair.

Valentine’s Day in Occoquan

Posted by Lori on February 4, 2015 in Holiday, Restaurant News

Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner.  Even though I love driving into DC to try out new restaurants, we usually stay local for this holiday. Our all-time favorite is Bistro L’hermitage. You can’t ask for a better atmosphere on Valentine’s Day! I’ve listed a few more dining options around the Occoquan waterfront. All are very quaint, just as you would expect, and most of them come out with a special menu.

The Secret Garden Cafe

Bottle Stop – Wine Bar & Shop

Occoquan Inn

The Landing at Occoquan Harbour Marina

Cock & Bowl

Blue Arbor Cafe

Madigan’s Waterfront

The Electric Palm

Before you leave town, don’t forget to stop by our new chocolate shop, Nazbro Chocolates.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
